Ice Watch provides a complete range of forecasting, gritting and snow clearing services for a variety of public and private sector clients.
Winter Services
Ice Watch has provided winter services to Molson Coors since 2012. We provide services to a variety of Molson Coors’ sites, including Burton Brewery at Burton-on-Trent, one of Europe’s largest breweries.
An extensive set of winter services tasks are carried out, covering car parks, access roads, footpaths, storage and loading/unloading areas:
The sites present a number of challenges to service delivery. As well as the sheer size of the Burton Brewery site, the site has a number of elevated surfaces, including a bridge at a critical access point which gets very icy.
To ensure reliable service delivery for our client we store salt on the site to ensure a ready supply is always available when needed, along with manual equipment for gritting and snow clearance.
In times of particularly heavy snowfall a tractor is made available to site to help with clearance to ensure the site remains accessible and safe for the brewery’s staff, suppliers and delivery partners.
